Mug Details

Mugs are 11oz ceramic mugs. The outside of the mugs are specially treated with a polymer coating that allows the dye sublimation inks to bond with the tile surface when heat and pressure are applied, for a permanent image on the outside of the mug. When possible, images are impressed as full wrap: they cover the mug from top to bottom, and wrap around to within 1/2" of the mug handle -- the finished image is about 9"W x 4"H. This is only possible if uploaded images meet minimum requirements of 150 px/in so this means a minimum pixel width of 9" x 150px/in = 1350 pixels wide by 4" x 150px/in = 600 pixels high. Finally, mugs are available in three color choices: White, Black or Morph (a special effects mug that shows the image when a hot liquid is poured into the mug). Morph mugs cost slightly more than black and white mugs.

Use and Care

These mugs are very popular. They can be used to commemorate a special trip, or to keep a picture of your family while you sip coffee at work. They make wonderful, unique and inexpensive gifts!

While all of the mugs are dishwasher-safe, it is recommended that you hand wash them to avoid scraping or scratching the outside of the mug. Morph mugs should not be put in the dishwasher but should be washed by hand. Never scour the outside of the mug with the image; if materials are caked on the mug, let it soak overnight, then wipe with a soft sponge, soap and water.

Custom orders take time to prepare. Therefore you need to allow ample time when ordering for special occasions. We recommend allowing at least 4 weeks for such cases to ensure delivery by the time needed.
